SP Advanced Centre for Neuroscience – “Every Minute Counts”

SP Medifort Hospital has launched a dedicated Stroke Clinic under its Advanced Centre for Neuroscience, reinforcing the hospital’s focus on early detection, prevention, and comprehensive stroke management.

The launch event highlighted the critical importance of timely intervention in stroke care, with the message “Every Minute Counts” taking centre stage. The clinic focuses on stroke awareness, risk assessment, and coordinated neurological care aimed at improving patient outcomes.

The initiative is led by a highly experienced neuroscience team including Dr Sonu Kurian (Consultant Neurology), Dr Meera R (Consultant Neurology), Dr Manorama Devi K Rajan (Senior Consultant Neurology), Dr Girish Menon (Consultant Neurosurgery & Head of the Department), and Dr Sreejith M D (Consultant Neurosurgery).

As part of the launch, a Stroke Awareness Walkathon and educational programmes on stroke prevention and timely treatment were conducted. The clinic aims to serve as a comprehensive centre for stroke care, combining medical expertise with advanced technology.
