Introduction

Dr. Arun S. S. is a dedicated and highly skilled emergency medicine specialist with 7+ years of experience in delivering critical, lifesaving care across a broad spectrum of urgent medical situations. At SP Medifort Hospital, he leads the Emergency Medicine department, bringing strong clinical expertise and leadership to one of Trivandrum’s most advanced emergency care teams.

With a solid foundation in emergency care, Dr. Arun holds an MBBS, MEM (Master in Emergency Medicine), and MBA, combining clinical excellence with structured program leadership. He serves as the program director for the Masters in Emergency Medicine (MEM/CCT-EM) under the Society for Emergency Medicine India (SEMI), a curriculum that equips doctors with comprehensive, evidence-based emergency care skills.

Dr. Arun is deeply involved in trauma and acute care training, serving as an instructor for Trauma Care & Road Safety Utility Service (TRUST) with the Motor Vehicle Department in Trivandrum, as well as for the Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) under the Kerala Education Department. He also contributes as a key team member in Basic Life Support (BLS) and trauma care training for the Kerala Police, helping strengthen emergency response capabilities across public services.
